“The best of all charities is to feed a hungry person” - Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
MACCLM distributes food once a month throughout the year, twice a month during the month of Ramadan and during Eid ul Adha.
We receive generous donation of canned and some produce once a month. The non-perishable food is collected throughout the year from our community.
Monetary donations to the Community Food Drive is used to buy the halal meat and few other necessary items. We ask for your monthly donations to the program.

Some of our dedicated volunteers help us to pack the food while others deliver them to the families.
People who are less fortunate (victims of domestic violence, refugees, disable/handicap, struggling to put food on their table, etc).
Anyone who is in need. We get referrals from different organizations, personal contacts and through family friends. We carefully collect their family dynamic, financial issues, their other needs, etc. We then further evaluate their situation to the best of our knowledge (by communication, observation and documentation) when we go for the distributions in person. We then continue or replace the old with new families.
Our community includes Lexington and its surrounding areas.
It’s a unique opportunity to meet others, learn more about the struggles our communities are facing, and help do our best to give back.
